All she wants to do is Dance Dance....

It has been one crazy week! This last week was the dance recital for me and my students at the studio. It went great! IT was so much fun, and I found my love for dance again! IT was so nice to remember why I started dancing. IT is my outlet and my way to get away from all the problems and craziness in life. I am so proud of all my girls for working so hard this year. They have all accomplished so much this year. They work their butts off at the studio and also work their butts off at school. Most of them are on dance company or cheer at school and have such hectic lives, and yet they find the time to come to my class. HOw amazing is that? I cannot express how much joy they bring into my life! They are all amazing and I love them so much. We also had the awards party for dance and we danced in the Wesfest parade. It was a busy/great week, but I am glad its over and I can take a little break from everything.
Whats next? Well, I won't be able to go to school this semester due to finances, but I will be looking for a new job that does not require me to work the weekends and the ocassional later hours. I plan to enjoy the free time I have now and just enjoy life and all that I have. I want to study up on my dancing and become a better choreographer and dancer. I want to improve so many parts of my life and become happeier with every aspect of my life. There are so many things that I can't change, but so many things I can. I need to remember that I am in control, and it is my choice whether or not I am happy. Easier said than done most of the time, but it is something to aspire too. Im hoping I can start accomplishing some of my dreams and take life by the horns. I'm ready to begin a new chapter, so here it goes! Wish me luck!

Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and DC!

So I decided to just write one post of the rest of my trip before I forgot. In Rhode Island we went to a Mansion that had over 70 rooms and 25 bathrooms. It was amazing and beautiful. We couldn't take pictures of the inside but I was able to take pictures of the outside. In Massachusetts we went to the Basketball hall of fame, adn that was really fun. Brittney was able to get a military discount and they allowed her to pick one person from our group to be her spouse and get the discount as well. So, as a joke she chose me, since it is legal in Massachusetts for same sex marriage. My ticket even said Military Spouse. This is now a long lasting joke, and we now call each other my spouse. When we went to the Central Park zoo, we decided to pretend and take engagement pictures. We had pictures from behind and had our hands in each others back pockets. Oh the good times and memories. I think DC was my favorite part of the trip, even though we were only there for 6 hours. It was amazing to see our nations history and how blessed we are to have men and woman fight for our freedom day in and day out. I am so thankful for all that they do, and for all that I have. I would really like to go back to Washington. I did not get to see everything and could spend an entire week there. While we were walking around, there were a lot of students on field trips. I had mentions to Donna that I bet some of them were bored and just wanted to go back to school, when we were there in awe and didn't want to leave. Not 10 minutes later, I heard a young boy tell his friend that he didn't want to go to the museums. He wanted to just go back to school. It made me laugh. The things we take for grantid. I can't wait to go back to DC, but will just have to settle with my pictures for now. So, here are the last pictures of my wonderful trip! Hope you enjoy!

State #2 = New York!!

The next state we went to was New York. Here we did so much stuff. Our time in New York was jam packed full of stuff. It was so much fun, but very busy. The first day we took a 2 hour train ride from connecticut to New York. Once we got to Grand Central Station, we walked a couple of blocks to our hotel and left our bags there. Once we dropped off our bags we headed of to the theatre. At the theatre we saw Wicked. It was amazing! I would have liked a lot more dancing though, but it was still excellent! After the play, we walked around and enjoyed Time Square. That night we went to dinner at a place called Juniors. I had a hamburger and the biggest onion ring I had ever see. It was so delicious! The next day we made our way to the Statue of Liberty. It was freezing the entire time, and Jackie spilled all my Hot Chocolate on me, but we still had so much fun and was very thankful to be there. After we got back from the statue we went and saw ground zero. It was all crossed off because they are doing construction for all the new buildings and memorial that they are planning on doing. We also went to the History of Natural Museum, and walked through central park and went to the Central Park Zoo. I wish I had pictures of the Museum, central park, and the zoo, but my memory card got left in Brittneys computer. We had so much fun in New York, and I am so very very thankful and greatful to the Lancasters for allowing me to go with their beautiful, amazing, wonderul, kind, caring, and courageous daughters! It was the best thing I have done in a long time. So, here are some pictures of what went donw in the big apple!

5 state tour! First up, Connecticut.

I am back from my wonderful wonderful trip.I went with my two best friends/sister Donna and Brittney, and their foreign exchange student/little brother Jackie who is from Hong Kong. On this trip we went to 5 different states. So, instead of writing one really long post, I am just going to do it state by state. I can not say enough how wonderful and needed this trip was. Thanks to the amazing, kind, and generous Lancaster family, it was stress free:)! So, the first state we enjoyed was Connecticut. Here is where Donna and Brittneys aunt and uncle lived, and they took us around every where. They were our tour guides the entire trip. They were so cute and so very very generous. They kept telling us that it was our trip and we could do and go where ever we wanted. Thanks to Roberta and Joe, our vacations was fun and stress free. So, what did we do in Connecticut? Well we went to the aquarium the first full day we were there. We went with Roberta, her daughter Christina, and her grandson Ricky who was adorable. We had so much fun watching him and watching our selves. While at the aquarium, I got to pet a shark and a stingray. The shark was smooth, but the sting ray was very slimy. Connecticut is so beautiful. There are trees and little rivers every where. Roberta and Joe even had a little spring/river in their back yard. It was too early in the year, so nothing was too green, but it was still beautiful and unfortunatley really cold the entire trip. So, here are some pictures of our time in Connecticut:
